We are an incorporated 501(c)(3) public charity tax exempt organization. Over that time period we have awarded more than $1,300,000 in scholarship funds. The Far West Masters Scholarship Program is now in our 32nd year of raising funds to benefit Far West Junior ski racers. Together, we are helping further the progression of our amazing local ski racing legacy. Thanks to people like you, we’ve historically been able to give between $25,000 and $50,000 to more than 40 young racers in annual financial support. Team fees, equipment quivers, travel and training camps for an elite level athlete costs tens of thousands of dollars. Your attendance at the Asado, membership and donation helps offset the costs of competitive alpine ski racing for local North Tahoe athletes. Over the past 90 years, our programs and philanthropy have helped some of our area’s best athletes, many of whom have gone on to compete at Collegiate, National, and Olympic team levels.
